With 365 beaches, a vibrant culture and a natural landscape that lends itself to adventure and exploration, Antigua is a unique destination with limitless appeal. The island’s bays remain quiet and secluded, whilst Antigua's towns and resorts offer an array of boutiques, bars and restaurants. The island is quintessentially Caribbean, full of candy-coloured villages, a rum-infused mellowness and engaging locals who'll greet you with wide smiles. In terms of weather, Antigua has a hot, tropical climate with refreshing breezes from the trade winds, averaging around 27 degrees throughout the year, making it a perfect destinations all year round !

SHIRLEY HEIGHTS

Sunday parties at Shirley Heights have become something of an institution in Antigua. Shirley Heights Lookout is on the southwestern tip of the island so offers spectacular sunsets as well as a taste of Caribbean nightlife with live music and a barbecue. Very close to the hub of English Harbour and again only a 25 min drive from Bluff House. A must for a Sunday evening when in Antigua!

ENGLISH HARBOUR

& NELSON’S DOCKYARD

Nelson's Dockyard is a cultural heritage site and marina in English Harbour, located around 25mins drive from Bluff House. This beautifully preserved historic site, the only Georgian naval facility still in use anywhere in the world, has many little cafés and restaurants, as well as a museum displaying memorabilia from the time when Admiral Nelson made this his base in the 18th Century.

BARS AND RESTAURANTS

Antigua is a rich paradise full of amazing cuisine, idyllic locations and vibrant locations offering spectacular food. One of our favourites (picture on the left) is Sheer Rocks offering incredible cocktails, delicious food and spectacular views out to sea. Being around a 45min drive from Bluff House, we always couple this with lunch at Jacqui O’s on Dartwood Beach to make the journey worth while. Falmouth Harbour is teaming with amazing places to eat, Cloggy’s and Southpoint being our top picks!
